BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Our goal is to ensure that all volunteer candidates are well-suited to our mission and can positively impact both our organization and the communities we serve.
Minimum Requirements
- Time Commitment: Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month.
- Event Participation: Attend at least one event annually.
- Meeting Attendance: Participate in monthly meetings, which are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
Training Requirements
- New and Existing Volunteers are required to complete online training(s) courses and CPR-AED-First Aid card to become and maintain affiliated with the Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps Programs.
Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps Volunteer Process:
- Submit a Citizen Corps Volunteer Application (SEE BELOW)
- Complete a Volunteer Interview
- Complete a NEW AZ-DPS and FBI fingerprint process.
- Provide a current AZ Driver’s License combined with a ADOT 39-month driving record (SEE BELOW)
- Complete the Welcome Packet and required Training
- Completea Hep B Vaccination or Signed Waiver
- CPR-AED-First Aid card ( Free of charge to all volunteers)
