BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Our goal is to ensure that all volunteer candidates are well-suited to our mission and can positively impact both our organization and the communities we serve.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Time Commitment: Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month.
    • Event Participation: Attend at least one event annually.
    • Meeting Attendance: Participate in monthly meetings, which are held on the third Tuesday of each month.

    Training Requirements 

    • New and Existing Volunteers are required to complete online training(s) courses and CPR-AED-First Aid card to become and maintain affiliated with the Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps Programs.

    Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps Volunteer Process:

    1. Submit a Citizen Corps Volunteer Application (SEE BELOW)
    2. Complete a Volunteer Interview
    3. Complete a NEW AZ-DPS and FBI fingerprint process.
    4. Provide a current AZ Driver’s License combined with a ADOT 39-month driving record (SEE BELOW)
    5. Complete the Welcome Packet and required Training
    6. Completea Hep B Vaccination or Signed Waiver
    7. CPR-AED-First Aid card ( Free of charge to all volunteers)

    Fingerprints
