BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Our goal is to ensure that all volunteer candidates are well-suited to our mission and can positively impact both our organization and the communities we serve.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Time Commitment: Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per month.
    • Event Participation: Attend at least one event annually.
    • Meeting Attendance: Participate in monthly meetings, which are held on the third Tuesday of each month.

    Training Requirements 

    • New and Existing Volunteers are required to complete online training courses and posses a current CPR-AED-First Aid card to become and maintain affiliation with the Daisy Mountain Fire Department Citizen Corps Programs.

    Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Citizen Corps Volunteer Process: 

    Minimum age: 18  

    Complete and Submit a Volunteer Application

    1.     Volunteer Interview
    2.     Finger Print and Background Check 
    3.     Welcome Packet
    4.     Hep B Vaccination Packet
    5.     ADOT Driver License Motor Vehicle 39 -Mth Record Request   
    6.     CPR-AED-FirstAid Card ( Offered free of charge to all volunteers)

    Annual Required Training's:

    • Discrimination & Harassment Prevention Training
    • Citizen Corps Driver's Training
    • Infectious Disease Bloodborne Pathogens Training 
    • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
    • CPR, AED and Basic First Aid (2 year Certification)
